With more than 20 years in business Donna is a B2B marketing communications professional. She led and implemented a fresh approach to integrated marketing communications as head of marketing communications at leading UK print and publisher Pindar, being responsible for brand identity, marketing campaigns, literature, events, customer profiling and prospecting. During her earlier years Donna was a member of BNFL’s corporate communications team and played a key role in its major re-branding project.

As part of the Stratia team, support, plan and deliver communications programmes, specialising in B2B marketing communications.

What qualifications have you attained?

Graduate of marketing communications, MMU. A full member of IDM (Institute of Direct Marketing) and CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing).

How long have you been at Stratia?

Since its inception.

What is your best quality?

Listening and understanding, whether its clients or friends, and being liberal of mind.

What is your worst habit?

I have a real tendency towards being obsessive-compulsive, especially in the little everyday things that have to be done. A more positive spin on this is that I give great attention to detail.

My interests

General

Good food – reading about it, talking about it, cooking it, eating it. Growing my own herbs, in fact this has been surprisingly successful so I’m about to start growing my own veg. Doing some yoga whenever I can, but not nearly enough. Being with my bloke. And my lovely daughter recently had two gorgeous babies just 15 months apart, so being a good Nana to Oliver and Lilian means more to me than words can say.

Music

I’m a Bowie nut, but lots more … especially 60s and 70s folk, rock and punk. Loads of similarly inspired recent stuff too.

The Graduate, Klute, Sex Lies & Videotape, Stepford Wives (original), Pulp Fiction, Women in Love. Barefoot in the Park, The Hours, Wickerman, The Way We Were, Easy Rider, Saturday Night Fever, Soylent Green, Love Story, anything by Mike Leigh, all the kitchen sink classics.
