Every cloud has a silver lining

As the saying goes sh*t happens! Strong word you may think, but when someone breaks into your house, pinches your car keys and takes your new mini off the drive, I think it's a rather conservative statement!

Of course, the little mini never materialised, probably with some unassuming motorist who thought they'd bought a bargain! So after months of investigation, grilling by loss adjusters and wrangling with insurers we (eventually) had some cash to buy a replacement. This is the little bit of silver lining around what was a very dark cloud.

So, we checked out the new Fiat 500. What a brilliant little car (and a brilliant website too www.fiat.co.uk) A bit like the Mini it's retro, but beautifully exicuted and combined with all the mod-cons needed on a new car. A whizzy little 1.2 pertol engine, in cha cha cha azure (OK, so they went over board with the paint names, its pale blue!) with a neat set of alloys. What's even more surprising is it's oncredibly well built too!

So we're all smiles again in the Noble houshold, with the new member of the family tucked up on the drive, keys hidden, with 24 hour armed guards and electric fences now installed. Happy days.
