Yes, it's as mad as it sounds.
One of the most eagerly awaited events of Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture celebrations is now live! 125, two metre tall replicas of Taro Cheizo’s iconic SuperLambBanana sculpture have been painted, decorated and adorned by local artists, schools and community groups, to create a free to view, open air, public art spectacular. Trail Maps can be found across the region from Travel Centres, Tourist Information Centres, Libraries, Museums and Galleries, some stores and 08 Place. You can also download a pdf version of the map. Take a look at the website http://www.gosuperlambananas.co.uk/
Also, one of our lovely clients, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, have contributed to the 'madness' with their interpretation representing LSTM's work on some of the world’s deadliest tropical diseases. Take a look at that they have been up to: http://www.liv.ac.uk/lstm/lambanana/
